Hello everybody! I'm back again with two more short Free Tutorials. I've been wanting to expand the offerings in my Free Tutorial section, so I'm starting with a couple easier ones today. I also rearranged the Free Tutorial section and hopefully it will be a little less cluttered.
The first one is for the Crystal Berry Sprays that I used in my recent Poinsettia Wall Hanging. I had a few people ask about how to make these, and they are super easy so I figured I would just make a little tutorial and post it for anyone interested.
The second one is for this neat little branch that I designed to use in an upcoming Fantasy Flower Arrangement. My husband thought I was making coral. But it's just a funky little branch, though I'm sure the idea could be altered to make coral...
The tutorial begins with a technique tutorial on Fringe, and then has the branch as a little project at the end. :)
I'll be making a few more of these branches for my arrangement. :)
In other news:
I have forgotten the last few posts to update those of you who went in with me on the special order of 22 gauge Ultra White Wire from Parawire. From my last communications with their rep, we have about 2 more weeks until they ship the wire to me, then once I receive it I will be parceling the spools out and shipping them to everyone who ordered. If you ordered wire from me but haven't sent me your shipping address yet, please contact me!
I've been saving up for a while for a nicer camera. One, so I can take better pictures. And two.... so I can do video tutorials! I've been wanting to do them for such a long time. And, thanks to all of your support in purchasing patterns lately I was finally able to order the camera! It's a Canon T5i, which is really really nice, and I'm so stinkin' excited! It should be here early next week. My microphone and remote are coming today. (Don't you hate it when the accessories arrive before the thing they go to? I can't even play with them!) Once I figure out how to use a DSLR camera and get my setup right, I will start experimenting with video tutorials. Some will be free, and others will be available in my pattern shop. So hopefully someday soon (probably not until next year though :( ...) I will be able to offer video tutorials for you guys. :) YAY!!
