I've finished up a couple accessories within my Daisy theme for April. They both took a few tries to get right.
Here's my new daisy pin!
And here is my Gerbera Daisy barrette
I think this finishes up my Daisy quest for the month. I wanted to make a few more, but my brain is spazzing out a bit and I can't get anything to look right, so I think it's time to move on and give my brain something new to think about. I do have a few days left over, so I might try a smaller project - like a little potted pansy - as a palette cleanser. Or I might start work on my husband's beaded bonsai. Perhaps both! :)
A look forward into next month:
I called for a vote to help decide which flower to make next month. I was going back and forth between redesigning my Rose with a few new ideas I've had recently, or trying out some Orchids. The fans have spoken. Looks like May's Flower of the Month will be the Orchid! I'm very excited! I've been researching and planning... I'm going to try for two potted orchids. A Cymbidium and a Phalaenopsis. Plus a few accessories. Maybe a necklace if I can decide on style. :) Yay!
