Yay! This is my final tutorial for this year. I'm just glad I was able to finish it. This time I've covered Spokes. I demonstrate how to use the Spoke Frame (also called Basket Weave) to make flat shapes - like circles, triangles, and squares - along with Trumpets and Domes, and Spheres! The PDF does have instructions for my Billy Ball pattern. Along with the Spoke Frame, we also talk about using another kind of Spokes with the Basic Frame to make leaves/petals with multiple points along the edges. (I had this in my recent Poinsettia Pattern as well) And... there is a new technique combo that I developed while I was searching for a way to reduce the number of stem wires for accessories. I'm pretty excited! I hope it will help.
It's a 16 page PDF, with over 50 pictures and written instructions. It covers quite a bit, since it's a very flexible technique.
Beginning in 2016 my PDF pattern and tutorial prices will increase a little. So if there's one you been wanting to get, now is the time to get it before the price goes up!
To those of you who purchased 22 gauge ultra white wire from Parawire - it has all been shipped out and you should all be receiving your wire soon! I've played with it a little bit and I do love it! It works with Czech and Japanese size 11/0 and larger beads. I'm working on some Magnolias, and then I will hopefully try out a Lotus.
I don't believe I will be posting again before the New Year, so I'd just like to thank each of you for your support through this past year! 2015 has been great, and I'm really looking forward to 2016. I wish you all Happy Holidays!
